73 in December

Two days after Christmas and the temperature in the 70's. With the weather being cold I haven't been riding as much as I would like. Saturday and Sunday it was just about perfect. I rode at Little Creek and it was alittle muddy after the rain in the past couple of days. Now I'm pumped for spring and summer, oh wait it's the begining of winter.

I'm back

Well I'm finally making a new post. I have been in charleston since august and just now have the internet. I have alot of different places to ride down here so that makes it nice. When it hasn't been too cold or snowing like crazy. I have been doing the night ride thing. This is my first year for night rides, and it's pretty sweet. Well I'll try and keep this thing updated, but we all know how good I am at that.

ohh boy

Well it has been some time since my last post, and I know I say im going to keep this updated but we all know that is a lie. I've been doing alot of trail work the last week and cut some over in Ohio today. The main plan for today was to build more trails in Proctor, but 89 was closed and will be for some time. So the trails over there will have to wait alittle longer.

looking forward..

Yesterday David Crow and I done a easy 27 mile road ride out behind Martins Ferry. It was the first road ride we got to do this year. I thought it would be a nice relaxing ride before this weekend at The Appalachian Classic. Saturday XC time trial, bike polo, and short track. Sundays the XC race. It should be a great weekend. Hope to see everyone there.

Barkcamp

Sunday Tim and I went to ride at Barkcamp. It was extremly hot outside, so we kinda got a late start. Anyways the trail was in pretty good condition. There was a tree down so on our second lap we built sticks and little branches over top of it for a pretty sick log crossing. So after our second lap we ventured off and rode by the beach. I was surprised not bad for a beach. So we fooled around there for awhile. Looking to get another ride in at Barkcamp this weed with some trail work.

Grandvue

I woke up today planning on a road ride and got super pumped to ride at Grandvue. I haven't been there all year so I was way past due. The day went pretty well other than some trees that need cut and some weed eating, but you will have that. The first lap I tried to clear small things out of the trail, but a trail work day is in need.

Tomorrow either Barkcamp or Grandvue ride with a little trail work before the ride.

Bavington Game Lands

Well back to updating hopefully. Sunday June 1st Dave, Timmy, and I headed north to PA to ride at Bavington Game Lands. The day went swell and the weather couldn't have been better. I recommend going if ever given the chance. I know I'll be back.
